Dr. Scott Snyder
Dr. Scott grew up in Byron Center and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wheaton College (IL) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He continued his education at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
During his residency, Dr. Scott was trained in IV conscious sedation, implant placement and restoration, extraction of third molars (wisdom teeth) in addition to other general dentistry procedures. He volunteers monthly at Exalta Health in Grand Rapids. Dr. Scott is a member of the West Michigan Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Scott and his wife Jillian have two children, Ella and Owen and a crazy schnoodle Maizy. In their free time, they enjoy golfing, watching Michigan football games, and being active in their church and community.
Dr. Cliff VanPutten
Dr. Clifford Van Putten was also raised near Grand Rapids and practiced in Hudsonville, MI for over 30 years. He joined Snyder Family Dentistry after Dr. Steve Snyder retired in 2022. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry
Dr. Cliff VanPutten has taken extensive continuing education in cosmetic dentistry and complex full mouth rehabilitations.
He has 4 adult children and enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, traveling and spending time with his wife and family. He serves our patients on Mondays and Tuesdays.
